Abstract:

Bu makalede Janet Langlois, JFR'nin (Journal of Folklore Research) göstergebilim üzerine çıkan özel sayısına giriş niteliğinde bir yazı kaleme almıştır. Söz konusu sayıda yer alan makaleleri kısaca tanıtmış ve göstergebilim hakkında giriş niteliğinde bazı kaynaklardan söz etmiştir. Derginin bu özel sayısına makaleleriyle katkıda bulunanlar Jonathan Evans, Olivia Cadaval, Kwesi Yankah, Beverly J. Stoeltje ve John H. McDowell'dır. Göstergebilimin temeli üzerine kısaca durduktan sonra, Langlois, bu temel üzerinden makaleleri tanıtır. Langlois, bu kısa tanıtım yazısında, kendi ifadesiyle, "Hangi folklor" ve "Hangi göstergebilim" sorularına yanıt aramaya yardımcı olmaya çalışmaktadır.

Abstract:

In this article, Janet Langlois received a paper in the title of entry to the JFR (Journal of Folklore Research) specific number on the indicator. This number of articles included briefly presented and indicated some sources in the entrance nature of the indicator. Those who contributed to this special number of the magazine with their articles are Jonathan Evans, Olivia Cadaval, Kwesi Yankah, Beverly J. Stoeltje and John H. McDowell. After briefly stopping on the foundation of indication, Langlois introduces the articles on this foundation. Langlois, in this short promotional post, is trying to help find answers to the questions "What Folklore" and "What I can indicate" by his own expression.
