Engelliler, fiziksel, ruhsal ya da sosyal bir takım etkenler nedeni ile toplumun diğer kesimlerinden daha güç bir yaşam sürdürmektedir. Engelli kadınlar ise, hem “engelli” hem de “kadın” olmanın güçlüklerini bir arada yaşamaktadırlar. Engelli birey olmanın getirdiği zorluklar ve toplumun beklentileri kadının, engelinden dolayı mutsuz olmasına ve bu durumunu kabullenmekte zorluk çekmesine neden olmaktadır. Bu nedenle, problem yaşayan bu bireylere psikolojik destek olmak toplumun ruh sağlığı açısından oldukça önemlidir. Psikolojik yardım hizmetleri bireysel olabileceği gibi gruba yönelik de olabilmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, bedensel engelli bireylere yönelik bir grupla psikolojik danışma uygulamasına katılan kadınların yaşam kalitelerini ve grupla psikolojik danışma süreci ile ilgili görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmada, tek gruplu son test modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, nicel ve nitel veri toplama araçları birlikte kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Veriler, betimsel analiz ile çözümlenmiştir. Sonuçların değerlendirilmesinde, frekans (f) ve yüzdelik (%) değerler kullanılmış ayrıca doğrudan alıntılara yer verilmiştir. Bulgular, ilgili alanyazın ışığında tartışılmıştır.
Disabled persons live a stronger life than other sections of society due to a set of physical, mental or social factors. Women with disabilities experience both the difficulties of being “disabled” and “woman”. The difficulties brought by being a disabled person and the expectations of society cause the woman to be unhappy with her obstacle and to have difficulty accepting this situation. Therefore, psychological support for these individuals with problems is very important for the mental health of the society. Psychological assistance services can also be directed to the group as individual. The purpose of the study is to study the quality of life of women who participate in the practice of psychological consultation with a group of physical disabled individuals and their views on the psychological consultation process with the group. In the study, the final test model of a single group was used. Research findings have been obtained by the use of quantitative and qualitative data collection tools together. The data is analyzed by visual analysis. In the assessment of the results, the frequency (f) and percentage (%) values were used and also included in direct quotes. The findings were discussed in the light of the relevant area.

As a research design, one-group post-test model was used. Quantitative and qualitative data collection tools were used in the study. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. In the evaluation of the results, frequency (f) and percentage (%) values are used and also direct quotations are given. The findings were discussed in the light of the related literature.
