Abstract:

Individuals' learning style preferences differ. Some people may also prefer to use more than one learning style. Learning can help shorten the preferred learning style/stiles in the learning process and create an effective learning path. The aim of the study is to determine the impact of learning styles of students who receive tourism guidance training at the bachelor's level on the overall academic success score. The data were collected with the application of a literary-based survey to 1105 students who received tourism guidance training at the bachelor level in Turkey. Surveys, students in the spring semester of the 2016-2017 educational year, with the help of teachers in the departments of tourism guidance, according to the class-based cota sample, 10.02-20.03. It was applied face-to-face between the dates of 2017. In the analysis of data, identifying statistics as well as t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis have been used. The degree level of tourism guidance has been determined that the learning styles are effective in the overall success score of students. It is determined that students prefer visual learning styles. The study ends with a variety of recommendations for students who receive a bachelor's level of guidance education to increase their overall success score.
