Bu araştırmada Hz. Peygamber’in risalet öncesi ve sonrası çeşitli zaman dilimlerinde tecrübe ettiği iddia edilen Şakku’s-Sadr hadisesi bilimsel araştırmalara özgü metodolojik bakış açısıyla işlenmiş, temel referans kaynağı olarak Kur’ân, tefsir, hadis, siyer ve İslâm tarihi kaynakları kullanılmıştır. Yapılan incelemede sütanne adayı Halîme’nin bilinçli olarak Rasûlüllah’ı aldığı vurgulanmıştır. Göğsünün yarılması olayı ise vahye uymadığı, tarihsel bağlam ile çeliştiği, İslâm’ın temel ilkelerine aykırı olduğu, akıl ve mantık kurallarını zorladığı için efsanevî bir anlatım olarak değerlendirilmiştir.
In this study, Hz. The case of Shakku’s-Sadr, which is claimed to have experienced in various periods of time before and after the messengers, is processed with a methodological perspective of scientific research, the main reference source of the Qur’an, the interpretation, the hadith, the sier and the Islamic history sources. In the course of the examination, the candidate for the Sullivan was aware of the Sullivan. The fall of the chest is considered a legendary narrative because it does not comply with the revelation, it is contrary to the historical context, it is contrary to the fundamental principles of Islam, it forces the rule of mind and logic.
In this research, the Shaqqu’s-Sadır (Siplitting of Prophet [pbuh] Muhammed’s Chest) incident, which was claimed that Prophet [pbuh] Muhammed experienced several times before and during the Prophethood, was processed with a methodological point of view specific to historical studies and the Quran was used as the basic reference source. Besides, Tafsir, Hadith and Islamic History sources were also utilized. As a conclusion it was emphasized that Halime, the wetnurse candidate, received Prophet consciously; on the other hand the splitting of chest incident was regarded as a mythical narrative, for it contradicts the historical context, is contrary to the basic principles of Islam, and is beyond the rules of reason and logic.
