Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the beliefs of the last-class teacher candidates studying in the educational faculty. The research is carried out in the screening model. The universe of research is composed of 459 final-class students studying at Siirt University Education Faculty in the 2017-2018 educational-educational year. The sample of the study consists of 242 final-class students who are volunteer to participate in the research. The study used the learning-oriented scale of faith developed by Mr and others (2012) as a data collection tool. The SPSS 25 package program was used to analyze the data obtained in the study. Since the normality of the data is guaranteed, the t test for independent groups has been performed in order to reveal the status of gender differentiation, the one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) in order to reveal the differentiation in the Section. The study found a significant difference in the gender variable in the beliefs of the last-class teacher candidates to learn in the dimension of the cognitive structure in favour of the women candidates. Among the beliefs of teachers candidates to learn from the point of view of the variable of the section they read, a significant difference has been identified with the students of the classroom teaching department in the lower dimension of social structuring with the students of Science and Turkish teaching.
