Abstract:

The future time is the grammatical category that tells about the event, situation, and scenes that will occur or are planned to occur after the moment of the conversation. The future time welcomed with many additions throughout the history of the Turkish language, today in Turkish -AcAk is welcomed with additions. In addition to this attachment, it is possible to send to the future with the current time attachment, with the broad time attachment, even with the past time attachment. Although there is a single future time structure in Turkish language, it is possible to find different future time structures in contemporary Turkish languages. For example, the time established by the -Ar attachment is called the uncertain future time in Azerbaijan Turkish; in Turkmen Turkish and in Kazakh Turkish it is called the uncertain future time. Except for this time, there are also categories of future times in the contemporary Turkish languages expressing intention in the future, as well as in the near future. This study will focus on structures in the near future in Turkey in addition to the AcAk attachment.
