Abstract:

Bozorg Alevî is one of the writers in his stories of reality in a new social phase of contemporary Iran history. In his stories, he refers to the different social problems with critical reality, leaving the raw and slogan symbolism on the side and striving towards achieving and characterizing the concrete reality. The writer, who realizes that the share of society in the process of creation of an artwork cannot be neglected, is based on the literary sociology, which is a sub-science of literature, exposing works based on the intersection of literature and society. According to literary sociology, it is a matter of a relationship and influence between the present artwork and society. In this context, the poet and writers reflect in their literary works the social reality that they are influenced and witnessed by the surroundings in which they live and the events that happen here.   In this study, the work of Bozorg Alevî, Gile-merd, was attempted to be studied in the framework of literary sociology. In this process, the writer has been attempted to explain what situations and realities in the social structure of the period in which he lived, and how and how he reflects his observations into his stories in his work. In order to find traces of social development and realities such as the transition from tradition to modernity in the stories in the work and to associate them with the social structure of the time in which the work was written, the stories were tried to be evaluated under main titles and subtitles according to themes.
