Abstract:

Günümüzde dünya çok hızlı bir biçimde değişim göstermektedir. Bu değişim bazen teknolojik bazen ekonomik bazen insan alışkanlıkları olarak ortaya çıkmakta ve bu durum herkesi etkilemektedir. Bu değişime ayak uyduramayan toplumlar olumsuz etkilenmekte ve geride kalmaktadır. Bu değişimin yaşandığı alanlardan birisi de finans alanıdır. Finansal okuryazarlık seviyesinin yüksek olması bir toplumun hızlı kalkınmasına ve değişimden daha az etkilenmesine yardımcı olabilir. Bu çalışmadaki temel amaç, Ege Bölgesi’nde yer alan Uygulamalı Bilimler Yüksekokullarının Bankacılık-Finans ile Muhasebe Bölümü öğrencilerinin finansal okuryazarlık düzeylerini araştırmaktır. Bu nedenle, 697 öğrenciye anket uygulanmış ve anketler ANOVA ve t-Testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bunun için istatistikî programlardan birisi olan SPSS kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda yapılan analizler sonucunda, finansal okuryazarlık genel başarı düzeyinin yüzde 60 olduğu, en başarılı olunan konunun bireysel bankacılık olduğu, en başarılı öğrencilerin ise erkek ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Today, the world is changing very quickly. This change sometimes occurs as technological, sometimes economic, sometimes human habits, and this situation affects everyone. Societies that are not able to stand up with this change are negatively affected and behind. One of the areas in which this change occurs is the financial field. The high level of financial literacy can help a society develop rapidly and be less influenced by change. The main objective of this study is to investigate the levels of financial literature of the students of the Banking-Finance and Accounting Department of the University of Applied Sciences located in the Egean Region. Therefore, 697 students were surveyed and surveyed using ANOVA and T-Test. SPSS is one of the statistical programmes. The results of the analysis based on the purpose of the study found that the overall level of success in financial literature is 60 percent, the subject of success is individual banking, and the successful students are male and fourth-class students.

A high level of financial literacy can help a society develop faster and be less affected by change. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the financial literacy levels of Banking and Finance and Accounting students of Applied Science Schools in the Aegean Region. Therefore, a questionnaire was applied to 697 students and the questionnaires were analyzed using ANOVA and t-Test. SPSS, one of the statistical programs, was used for this purpose. As a result of these analyzes, it was determined that financial literacy general achievement level is 60%, the most successful area is individual banking, and the most successful students are male and fourth grade students.
