Abstract:

In this article, you will be looking for the answer to the question why the Shaman word of Sanskrit origin does not pass in ancient Turkish texts. The main factor that pushes us to be interested in the answer to the question above is the fact that the word is found in the ancient Uighur text "rahibe" in return to the shamanch in the female position.  As far as we can see, there is a concern about the spread of the word kam in ancient Turkish. The preference of neighboring communities, including the Colds, to meet the Turkish Kam, has led to the Uighur period of the Buddhist faith-oriented Turks to stay away from the Shaman word. In our study, the words of the ancient Turkish religious talks will be evaluated around the Shaman word. In this direction, the linguistic discontinuity of the approaches revealed to the ancient Turkish belief will be brought to the attention of the interested parties. The views on the subject will be discussed and emphasized for the correction of errors arising from reading and interpretation of historical Turkish texts. The introduction of the Shaman word that was not seen in the previous periods of Turkish will be attempted to illuminate the entrance to the Contemporary Turkish Lakhes.
