ORHAN PAMUK KURGUSALINDA CİNSİYET: KADIN, ERKEK, ÇOCUK KARAKTERLERİN KURGUDAKİ KULLANIM ORANI

Edebî metinlerin temel yapısını yer, kişi, zaman, olay oluşturur. Bazı kurgularda bu unsurların birkaçı bazı kurgularda ise hepsi belirleyici biçimde kullanılır. Karakterler kurgunun ilerlemesinde ağırlıklı rol üstlenir. Okuyucu, karakterler aracılığıyla metinde kendinden bir parça yakalar. Hayallerini, hayal kırıklıklarını, beklentilerini, iç çatışmalarını, kısaca yaşantısını, yaşamak istediklerini ya da istemediklerini görür. Başka bir deyişle kurmaca dünyada kendini görür. Görme eylemi aslında kişinin kurduğu bu empatiyle başlayacaktır. Kadın, erkek, çocuk gibi kimlikler, romanlardaki yaşananlar üzerinden okuyucunun empati kurmasını, zamanla ve karakterlerle özdeşleşme oranını artırmasını sağlar. Bu noktada romanlardaki cinsiyet kullanımını ve bunların kullanım oranını değerlendirme kararı aldık. Orhan Pamuk’un kurgusalında mesleklerle ilgili bir çalışma yaparken Orhan Pamuk’un kurguya dayalı metinlerinde karakterleri mesleklerle ilişkilendirerek değerlendirdiğini saptadık. Bunu saptarken yazarımızın kurgusal metinlerinde cinsiyetin kullanım şeklini de inceleme ihtiyacı duyduk. Çünkü onun bazı metinlerinde çocuk, hepsinde ise erkek ön plâna çıkmaktadır. Karakterlerin izlek, çatışma, duygu ve duyu aktarımındaki yansımalarında cinsiyetin belirli bir biçimde kullanıldığı gözlemlenmiştir. Karakterler içinde bulundukları toplumda mesleklerle giydirilirken cinsiyetler de belirleyici misyon yüklenmiştir. Kurgu bir dönemi anlatıyorsa ona göre kadının geride olduğu erkeğin ön plâna çıktığı gözlemlenmiştir ki bu durum kurmaca için doğal bir sonuçtur. Bazıları süreç romanıdır, buralarda kadın biraz da olsa gözlemlenebilirken, çocuk karakterlerin sayısının artışı görülür. Erkekler tüm kurgularda fazlaca kullanılmıştır. Tüm bu gözlemler sayısal veriler ile belirlenip şablonlaştırıldı. Böylece yüzdelik dilimler içinde her bir cinsiyetin de kullanım sıklığı değerlendirildi. Edebiyatın sosyolojiyle ilişkisinin meslekler üzerinden somutlandığı Orhan Pamuk kurgusalında meslek, karakter, cinsiyet ilişkisiyle kadının, erkeğin, çocuğun yeri, kullanım oranı belirtilerek bir yazarın bakış açısıyla cinsiyet kavramının kurgusal evrende işlenişi değerlendirilmiştir.

The basic structure of literary texts is the place, the person, the time, the event. In some philosophy, some of these elements in some philosophy are all used in a determining way. The characters play a major role in the progress of the philosophy. The reader captures a piece of himself in the text through the characters. He sees his dreams, his disappointments, his expectations, his internal conflicts, his life, what they want to live or what they don’t want. In other words, he sees himself in the world. The action of vision will actually begin with the empathy that the person establishes. Identities such as women, men, children allow the reader to build empathy through the events in the novels, to increase the rate of identification with time and characters. At this point, we decided to evaluate the use of gender in the novels and the rate of their use. When Orhan Pamuk was doing a work on the professions in the fiction, we found that Orhan Pamuk in his fiction-based texts evaluated the characters by linking them to the professions. To find this, we needed to study the way gender is used in the fictional texts of our writer. For in some of his texts the child, and in all the men come out in the front plan. It has been observed that in the reflections of characters in the transmission of sights, conflicts, feelings and senses, gender has been used in a certain way. The characters in the society in which they are dressed with professions, while the gender is charged with a determining mission. If the fiction tells a period of time, it is observed that the man behind which the woman came out in the front plan that this is a natural result for the creation. Some of them are a process novel, whereas women can be observed a little bit, the number of child characters increases. Men are used too much in all fiction. All of these observations were determined and templated by numerical data. In this way, the frequency of use of each gender was assessed in the percentage layers. The relationship of literature with sociology is formulated through professions in Orhan Pamuk's fiction of the profession, character, gender relationship, the place of the woman, the man, the child, the use rate, and the processing of the concept of gender in the fictional universe from the point of view of a writer.

It provides a better perception of main event and the characters' experiences and brings the conflict to the peak. He sees his dreams, his frustrations, his expectations, his inner conflicts, his sadness, his life or his wishes. In other words, he sees himself in the fictional world. Act of sight will actually begin with empathy the person establishes. Identities such as women, men and children enable reader to empathize over experiences in novels and increase the identification rate with characters over time. At this point, it was decided to evaluate usage of gender and their usage rates in his novels. While conducting study on occupations in Orhan Pamuk's fiction, we found in Orhan Pamuk's fiction-based texts, he evaluated characters by associating them with occupations. While determining this, it was examined usage of gender in his fictional texts. It’s observed that gender is used in a certain way in reflections of characters in the course, conflict, emotion and sense transfer. Some are process novels, where women can be observed, albeit slightly, while number of child characters increases. Men have been used extensively in all fictions. All these observations were identified and templated with numerical data. In Orhan Pamuk's fiction, where relationship between literature and sociology is embodied through professions, work of gender concept in fictional world was evaluated from writer's point of view by specifying relationship between profession, character, gender and place of women, men and children.
