GGünümüz düşün ve sanat anlayışının postmodern olarak biçimlendiği görülmektedir. Sinema, resim, edebiyat ve neredeyse sanatın tüm disiplinlerinde bu yaklaşım sıklıkla karşılık bulmaktadır. Metinlerarasılık kavramı da içinde bulunduğumuz postmodern öğretinin okuma yöntemi olarak kabul görür. Bir tür söyleşi, çokseslilik ya da yapıtlararası alış veriş işlemlerini ifade eden kavram sanatsal ürünlerin incelenme sürecinde çeşitli yöntemler ile varlık gösterir. Günümüzde sanatsal alanda eserler alıntı, gönderge, öykünme ve yansılama gibi farklı yöntemler ile de çözümlenmektedir. Sinema da karma yapısı nedeniyle bu tür araştırmalara sıklıkla konu edilmektedir. Yapısı gereği diğer disiplinler ile doğal bir ilişki içerisinde olan sinema aynı zamanda kendi öz metinleri ile de alış veriş işlemleri içerisindedir. Özellikle bir ustayı anma, hatırlatma ya da alaysılama bağlamında sinema tarihinin önemli orijinal sahneleri taklit ve tekrar edilir. Bu işlemler kült kabul edilen sahnelerin yeniden çekilmesi ya da ötekinden yola çıkarak yeni metinlerin üretilmesi biçiminde güncellenir. Sinema alanında iki ya da daha çok metin arasındaki söyleşim biçimi olarak değerlendirilen kavram bir tür yeniden yazma (çekme) olarak da değerlendirilebilir. Bu yaklaşıma göre orijinal metin taklit ya da tekrar edilerek çeşitli amaçlarla güncellenir. Sinemanın kült filmi olarak görülen Potemkin Zırhlısı adlı filmin özellikle paralel kurgu tekniğinin uygulandığı merdiven sahnesi de yıllar sonra bir tür ustayı anma ya da saygı çerçevesinde taklit edilerek yeniden çekilmiştir.
Today, it is seen that the thought and art understanding is formed as postmodern. This approach is often found in all the disciplines of cinema, painting, literature and almost all the disciplines of art. The concept of intertextism is also accepted as the method of reading of postmodern teaching that we are in. The concept that expresses a kind of speech, multiplicity or inter-working purchasing processes exists in the process of the study of art products by various methods. Today, in the art field, works are also resolved by different methods such as quotation, sending, storytelling and reflection. Films are often subjected to such research due to the karma structure. The cinema, which is in a natural relationship with other disciplines due to its structure, is also in the process of purchasing with its own texts. Specifically in the context of reminding, reminding, or alienating a masterpiece, important original scenes of the film history are imitated and repeated. These processes are updated in the form of the removal of the cult-accepted scenes or the production of new texts from the other. The concept that is considered as a form of conversation between two or more texts in the field of cinema can also be regarded as a type of re-writing (re-writing). According to this approach, the original text is updated for various purposes by imitating or repeating. The stage of the film called Potemkin Armor, which is seen as the film's cult film, especially the parallel fiction technique is applied, and years later a kind of masterpiece has been re-implicated in the framework of remembrance or respect.
It is seen that today’s sense of thought and art is shaped as postmodern. In cinema, painting, literature and almost all disciplines of art, this approach frequently has a counterpart. The concept of intertextuality is accepted as the reading method of postmodern discipline that we are in. The concept, which expresses the processes of a kind of conversation, polyphony or exchange between works, makes its presence felt during the process of analyzing artistic products through various methods. Today, works of art are analyzed through different methods such as quotation, reference, imitation and mirroring. Cinema frequently becomes the subject of such researches with its composite structure. Cinema, which has a natural association with other disciplines as required by its nature, also makes exchanges with its own texts. Especially within the context of commemorating a master or irony, important original scenes of cinema history are imitated and repeated. These processes are updated as remaking of scenes which are accepted as cult or producing new texts by setting off from the other one. The concept which is assessed as the way of dialogue between two or more texts is the process of a kind of rewriting (reshooting). According to this approach, original text is updated for different purposes by imitating or repeating. The ladder scene of the film named Battleship Potemkin, which is seen as a cult film of cinema, in which especially parallel fiction technique is applied, was also remade years later by imitation within the context of commemoration or respect.
