Abstract:

Bilişim teknolojileri rekabet avantajı sağlamak isteyen işletmeler için vazgeçilmez bir yönetim aracı haline gelmiştir. Teknolojide yaşanan gelişmeler neticesinde, bilgi sistemleri lojistik faaliyetlerde etkin bir biçimde kullanılmaktadır. Özellikle araç takip sistemleri; taşımacılıkta araçların izlenmesi, ürünlerin takibi, en uygun güzergâhın belirlenmesi gibi uygulamalarda oldukça verimli sonuçlar elde eden bir sistem olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Karaman ilinde faaliyet gösteren ilaç dağıtım firmasında araçlara monte edilen izleme cihazlarının işletme performansına etkisi ve elde ettiği sonuçlar incelenmektedir.

Information technology has become an indispensable management tool for seeking to provide a competitive advantage. As a result of technological developments, information systems are effectively used in logistics activities. In particular, vehicle tracking systems come to us as a system that achieves very efficient results in applications such as tracking vehicles in transportation, tracking products, determining the most suitable route. In this study, the impact of the monitoring devices installed on the vehicles in the pharmaceutical distribution company operating in Karaman province and the results it obtained.
