Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Afyonkarahisar ilinde gastronominin turizmin mevcut durumlarını araştırmak ve gastronomi turizm açısından değerlendirilmesi ve geliştirilmesine yönelik önerilerde bulunmaktır. Bu kapsamda, ilgili literatürde konuyla ilgili olan daha önceki çalışmalar incelenmiş; gastronomi turizmin kavramsal çerçevesi adı altında tanımı ve tarihçesi verilerek açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra Afyonkarahisar’da gastronomi turizm çeşidi açısından arz ve talebin mevcut durumu, dünyadaki benzer örneklerden yararlanılarak geleceğe yönelik öneriler belirtilmiştir. Son olarak ise genel bir değerlendirme içeren açıklamalar istikametinde süreçte yaşanan sorunlara özet bir bakış sunulmuş ve konuyla ilgili işletme-yöneticilere ve araştırmacılara öneriler getirilmiştir.
