Ambidexter is the name given to people who can use their both hands. Ambidexterity, in organizational terms, is the ability of combining two different and contradicting strategies such as using present resources of an organization in the most efficient way and discovering new ones simultaneously. Ambidextrous firms are professional in discovering new development areas and ideas and can use the knowledge, skill and resources they have at present in an efficient way. It is essential for small and medium sized firms to use their available resources efficiently while pursuing the new opportunities as it is for larger firms. But large firms have the resources and managerial systems required to do this in an effective way. Being lack of these facilitating systems ambidexterity depends on managers’ capabilities to a great extent in small and medium sized businesses. In this context, the purpose of the study is to determine and compare the individual innovativeness profiles of the managers and ambidexterity levels of the hotels. The data were collected from the hotels, certificated by municipality in Kızkalesi. The findings of the study show that hotel managers may be classified under two groups as those with high ambidexterity levels and those with low ambidexterity levels. According to the results of the study, owners’ individual innovativeness level has a positive relationship with the hotel’s ambidexterity
