When the Turkish literature is examined for the term positive psychological capital, it is seen that the studies are mostly based on the effects of positive psychological capital. And in this research, the role of perceived organizational support as a determinant of positive psychological capital has been searched. The basic theory on which these two variables are based is the theory of the conservation of resources. Accordingly, a survey has been conducted with 131 emergency service workers in Kocaeli and the data obtained have been analyzed. According to the results of the research, it is seen that organizational support that the emergency service workers perceived is significantly related to optimism, expectance and self-efficacy which are the components of positive psychological capital. On the other hand, it has been found out that organizational support perceived has no significant relation with endurance which is another extent of positive psychological capital
