Recognition and execution of foreign court decisions is a considerably important subject of the private international law. Under Turkish Law the conditions of recognition and execution of foreign court decisions are specifically set forth by the Code on Private International Law and Civil Procedure. In spite of these special provisions, the innovations brought by the Law no: 6100 Civil Procedure Code give rise to various revisions and discussions on the recognition and execution of foreign court decisions. Within the context of revisions involved, correspondingly prohibition of partial case, the rejection of partial execution claims have entered into force. The revisions of civil code also are yield to effects on admission conditions of recognition and execution. Whilst the innovations in trial procedure will speed up the cases, the rules on basic principles of trial demands the old approaches on recognition and execution of foreign court decisions.
