Abstract:

Although it is difficult to predict some of the costs incurred for the manufactured goods and services, have to make their decisions in uncertain conditions. Businesses in a competitive environment to sustain their assets need accurate and reliable cost estimates. Through this study, by the help of fuzzy logic method, modelling the data of the first 6 months of 2018 in a university hospital cardiology department, its cost estimation has been calculated. While the cost of the cardiology department of the hospital for the first 6 months of 2018 is 2 million 800 thousand liras, as a result of modeling it by fuzzy logic method, the cost of the department is forecasted at 2 million 840 thousand liras. The model created at the end of the research is seen to have estimated the cost of the hospital which is very close to the actual cost. In addition, the result was tested using the data from the department of cardiology in order to test the success of the model and this was compared with actual data. The results show that the model is highly successful and can be applied successfully by the enterprises.
