Bu çalışmanın amacı, tutuklu-hükümlü olan ve olmayan gençlerin ahlaki yargı düzeyleri ile benlik saygısı düzeylerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Araştırma nedensel karşılaştırmalı araştırma modeline göre yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Ankara Çocuk ve Gençlik Kapalı Ceza İnfaz Kurumunda bulunan tutuklu-hükümlü olan 47 genç ile Ankara’da lise eğitimine devam eden tutuklu-hükümlü olmayan 49 genç oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada “Sosyo-Demografik Bilgi Formu”, “Değerlerin Belirlenmesi Testi” ve “Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, “Yüzde Analizi ve “Bağımsız Gruplar İçin T Testi Analizi” uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizler sonucunda, tutuklu-hükümlü gençlerin tutuklu-hükümlü olmayan gençlere göre büyük çoğunluğunun ilköğretim mezunu olduğu ve cezaevine girmeden önce çalıştıkları, kalabalık ailelerden geldikleri, anne babalarının eğitim ve sosyo-ekonomik düzeylerinin düşük olduğu, ahlaki gelişim ve benlik saygısı düzeylerinin daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to compare the levels of moral judgment of prisoners and non-prisoners with the levels of self-respect. The research is done according to the comparative research model. The work group was formed by 47 young people who were imprisoned and imprisoned at the Ankara Child and Youth Closed Criminal Execution Institute and 49 young people who were not imprisoned and imprisoned on high school in Ankara. The study used "socio-demographic information form", "value determination test" and "Rosenberg Identity Respect Scale". In the analysis of the data, "Procent Analysis and "Test Analysis for Independent Groups" were applied. Statistical analyses show that the vast majority of prison-condemned youths, compared to non-condemned youths, are primary school graduates and they work before they enter the prison, they come from crowded families, their parents have low educational and socio-economic levels, and their levels of moral development and self-respect are lower.
