Abstract:

The language has a systematic structure. Like all the elements in this dizge, the word choice of the speaker occurs within a order. Words do not consist of randomly selected dictionary units. The combination of the two dictionaries can only occur if the recommendation characteristics are in the meaning structures and correspond to a set of conditions on the characteristics of accessibility of the objects together. The lack of attention to the characteristics of this proposal, called the election limitation, causes a disorder of meaning. Therefore, the choice of dictionary units is important for language users that the information is included in dictionaries. So, how much is there in the Turkish dictionary, which is seen as a turning point in the Kamus-i Turkish, to the choice of terms on the subject? Which methods are the limitations transmitted to the reader? Does the vocabulary differ from the dictionaries? Can the value of the election limitations be associated with the world view of Shemsettin Sami? In this study we are seeking answers to these research questions.
