Abstract:

Regional development is closely related to the effective and efficient use of these resources as it is related to the natural resources that they have. This study aims to evaluate the use of natural resources in Eskişehir for thermal tourism purposes and the relationship with development within the framework of the "Thermal Tourism Master Plan". In the study, a question form consisting of three sections was prepared and implemented by making face-to-face talks with the facility managers located in Eskişehir. The conclusion has been that the thermal resources of Eskişehir are not effectively used, that the Master Plan of Thermal Tourism is not implemented for the region and that the thermal resources are not used in its development at a sufficient level.
