Abstract:

"David bin Mahmud bin Muhammad" or known as "Kayserili David" is invited by Orhan Gazi to the first Ottoman medresh to be established in the 1331 occupied city of İznik and responds to this invitation. He serves as the first Ottoman officer. The formation of the first murderer makes it and its work about it important in terms of Turkish law history. There is no detailed information about the history of Kayserili David. There are also very few issues related to the identity of the lawyer. Most of the works about him are related to his tasavvuf identity. This information was generally focused on the philosophy of "Vahdet-i Body" systemized by Ibn Arab. Thus, these studies are important in terms of illuminating the world of feelings and thoughts of a great scientist, the founder of the Ottoman medrese system.
