Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the acronyms and acrostics of the literary technique that teachers of science candidates use as memory supports, which areas they use these coding techniques more and to reveal the opinions of teachers candidates about acrostics and acrostics. Since a deep study was conducted in order to identify the acrostics or acronyums in the memories of teachers candidates and their views on them, this research has found it appropriate to use the method of study of the situation from the quality research patterns. In the determination of the study group, the easy-to-accessful appropriate sampling method was preferred from the target sampling methods. In this context, the study group at a state university in Konya 3. There are 39 teachers who participate in the teaching department. In the collection of research data, the observation form prepared by the researchers was used. The teachers were given 15 minutes to fill out the interview form consisting of 2 questions. The data collected from participants is subject to content analysis. According to the findings obtained from the research, it has been found that teachers candidates apply to acronym in the field of chemistry, that their acrostics are distributed into the fields of physics, chemistry and biology, and that the reasons for the use of acronym/acrostic are permanent in mind and that permanent learning is provided.
