Bursa, özellikle tasavvuf açısından, Osmanlı’nınönemli merkezlerinden biridir. Birçok tarikat şubelerinin kuruluş yeri bu şehirdir. Bunlar arasında, Aziz Mahmud Hüdâyî’den sonra XVII. yüzyıl boyunca Osmanlı idarecileriyle yakın ilişkiler geliştirmiş olan Celvetiyye bu yönüyle özel bir önemi hâizdir. Bu açıdan Hidâyî’ye benzerliğiyle dikkat çeken ve Bursa’da bir Celvetî dergâhı kuran Selamî Ali Efendi, söz konusu tarikatınönemli şeyhlerinden bir tanesidir
Bursa, especially from the point of view of Tasavvuf, is one of the important centers of Ottoman. Many of the towns are located in this town. Among them, after Saint Mahmoud Hüdîi, XVII. Celvetia, who has developed close relationships with the Ottoman rulers throughout the century, has a special importance in this regard. In this regard, he attracted attention with a similarity to the Hidayah and founded a Celvetî magazine in Bursa, Salami Ali Efendi, is one of the important shaykhs of the tarikat.
