Abstract:

Today, a company’s sensitivity to the changes in the market and its innovation efforts to differentiate are seen as essential elements in order to provide superiority in the competitive environment. To this superiority, the company improves the performance of innovation. One of the important elements that influence the company’s innovation performance is the innovation system within the company. According to this information, the main objective of the study is to study the impact of the Trabzon Regional Innovation System on the innovation performance of companies operating in Trabzon. In accordance with the specific objective, the innovation survey data, which was implemented to 160 companies located in Trabzon, was studied using structural equality modeling. According to the findings, the cooperation with institutions and the competitive advantage positively impact the performance of innovation and the obstacles caused by the ecosystem negatively impact the performance of innovation.
