Abstract:

ÖZ: This study aims to evaluate the 2018 Turkish Teaching Bachelor program in accordance with the opinions of teachers who work in the field. The research has been used in the research process. The study group consists of 17 teachers who work in the Turkish Education departments in different universities and respond to the online interview form voluntarily. The opinions of teachers were taken with the written opinion form developed by the researchers. The draft form was ended with the opinions of experts in the Turkish field, program development and measurement assessment experts. The final form consists of 4 open-end questions about personal information, 12 open-end questions about the program. The form was sent to the corporate email addresses of the teachers. 17 teachers who returned to school. In the analysis of data, a visual analysis approach was adopted. Themes are created on the basis of interview questions. In the framework of the specified topics, the data is analyzed and the codes are created and interpreted with direct quotes. The research has shown that teachers often report negative opinions. In particular, criticism has been seen for the reduction of class hours and practice hours, the removal of some courses, and the program has more theoretical weight than the application.
