Bu çalışma Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi Sağlık Yönetimi Bölümü öğrencilerinin Organ Bağışı Bilgi, Tutum ve Davranış Düzeylerini (BTDD) belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini basit rastgele örneklem seçimi yöntemiyle seçilen 118 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Doğan (2009) tarafından geliştirilen Organ Bağışı Bilgi, Tutum ve Davranış Düzeyi Ölçeği kullanılmış ve Cronbach’s Alpha katsayısı 0.71 olarak bulunmuştur. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı-yüzdelik hesaplama, ortalama, t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve ki-kare testi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada demografik değişkenlerden katılımcıların sınıf düzeyi, cinsiyet, yaş, yaşadığı yer, mezun olduğu lise ve yaşadığı bölge ile BTDD ölçeği arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. Araştırmada öğrencilerin; % 94,9’unun organlarını bağışlamadığı, % 83,1’inin organ bağışı hakkında olumlu bir yaklaşım gösterdiği, % 55,1’inin organ bağışının nasıl ve nereye yapıldığını bilmediği belirlenmiştir.
This research has been done to test the level of Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University Health management department students' knowledge, attitude and behavior for organ donation. Research sample has formed by 118 students which has chosen by simple random sampling method. Cronbach's Alpha index of this research of is 0.71. The organ donation knowledge, attitude and behavior scale used which has developed by Dogan in 2009 as data collection tool. At the assessment of the data has been used number percentage calculation, avarage, t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Chi -square test. According to the test there is no statistical difference of the between OBTD scale with demographic (participants' gender, class level, age, living place and area of residence) variables. Following the searches 94. 9% of the students do not donate their organs, 83.1% of the participants are showing a positive approach to organ donation. 92.4% states that participants don’t have any organ donating relatives. The survey shows that 55.1% of the students don’t know how and where they are to donate the organ.
