During the nine years between 1832–1841 Çukurova was under military occupation of the Egypt army which was under the command of İbrahim Paşa who was the son of governer of Egypt Mehmet Ali Paşa During this period Menemencioğlu Tribe which was very influential among the tribes in the region and performed many functions both for the Ottoman State and Egyptians Their most important activity was to work as informants to Egyptians and to give them information about Ottoman State Besides working as informants they also supperted the Egyptians by giving maintenance support Their support which took the form of food animal shelter and military support However the activitiy of Menemencioğlu Tribe during this occupation was not one sided They also gave similiar supports to the Ottoman State The chiefs in the tribe played important roles in doing that Consequently above mentioned tribe made advantage thanks to its balanced policy which was implemented during the period of 1832–1841 Key Words: The Otoman State Question of Egypt Governer of Egypt Mehmet Ali Paşa İbrahim Paşa Çukurova Menemencioğlu Tribe
