Özet:

Art, one of the most important expressions of human beings, has fulfilled a prominent place in the point of cultural heritage. A number of cultural values that existed in the past have lost in the modern world. Turkish bath culture is one of them. Turkish baths, one of the buildings reflecting the customs and traditions, are indispensable elements of Anatolian lands with their traditional features as well as with their architectural features. Together with the structural form exhibited in the historical texture of baths, prehistoric, loincloth, towels, bath basin, bath bowl, belly stone, pouch and clogs can be evaluated as historical wealth. These elements have changed from culture to culture. In this study, the history of Turkish bath culture has been searched and the artworks of Turkish ceramic artists related to Turkish bath culture have been analyzed. It is seen that some of the artworks are the reflection of some products used in the baths and some of them are used symbolically about the message to be transmitted. As a result, it can be said that the ceramic artworks examined on the subject are of great importance in terms of keeping this cultural heritage alive and transferring it to future generations.
