In this paper, it was investigated the sources of stress, the effects and results of stress and coping with stress. In this context this paper research looks into the causes of stress of Tekirdağ Courthouse employees and the type of dealing method used by personals. In addition, this study examines if these causes of stress and dealing methods of employees have differences by demographic characteristics. Questionnaire was used as data gathering tool in current research. Questionnaire form consisted of three parts. The first part included 30 items five-points likert type ordinal scale to measure courthouse employees’ attidudes towards the causes of organizational stress. Second part covered 15 items five-points likert type ordinal scale to measure courthouse employees’ attidudes towards the coping methods with stress. The last part of the questionnaire was concerned with 9 multiple-choice questions about the demographics features of respondents. Nominal, interval and ratio scales were used to measure demographics variables for each question in this part. 102 employees of Tekirdağ courthouse participated in the study. Findings obtained were given in a table as descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentage, means, standart deviation). A reliability analysis were calculated on the scaled items; the alpha reliability coefficient indicated a reliable measure. The Independent Samples T-test was used to compare two groups, and ANOVA was used to compare three or more groups analysis made in this study. Insufficient salary and wage inequality, the lack of time due to excess workload, inconsistency of power and responsibility took place first three rank among the highest stress sources. Employees’ opinion about sources of stress, ways of coping with stress varies significantly with age, sex, education, income, working place, position and period of working in the job. However there is no significant difference in terms of marital status
