Abstract:

This study examined the effects of non-clean domestic revenue in Turkey, exchange rate and industrial production index on capacity use rates in the manufacturing industry. The data used in the analysis covers the periods 2007Q1-2017Q3. The data used in the study was obtained from the World Bank, TUIK and TCMB data distribution systems.  Priority ADF and PP unit root tests have been applied to the series and they have been shown to contain unit root in their level values. The series stops by taking the first difference.  According to the results of the analysis, equalization between the series has been identified. Construction and industrial production index increases capacity use rates while gsyh decreases. According to the Granger causality test results, the capacity use rates have found a correct causality relationship to the GDP and industrial production index. However, there is no causal relationship between the capacity use rates and the currency currency.
