Abstract:

With its root history, Anadolu, where many ethnic origins, cultures, languages and religions exist, has brought its diversity and rich accumulation in the sense of popular traditions to the present day. People's science and music have become part of this diversity of society's culture. This is why our people’s edges have created a unique musical structure and diversity according to the locations. In this regard, it is necessary to analyze the research of the rich people's heritage, which differs according to the locations of our folk music. This research aims to reveal the musical characteristic structure of the people of Eskişehir, which houses many cultural and musical objects, by examining the procedure, type, total measurement number and official characteristics, and to classify them in this framework. For this purpose, musical analyses were carried out in the TRT Turkish People's Music Repertory by achieving works of "Eskişehir province" and local printed sources. In this context, 85 works have been analyzed The study ended with the musical identity of each work, the musical elements that are dominant of the Eskişehir or the edges have been expressed numerically, all works are classified and presented in table.
