With rising speed of globalization process, the importance of the information quantity necessary to be processed per unit time has increased. In this sense, information technologies create a competitive advantage for the businesses by providing the information on the right time, in the right place The new advantages of information technologies provide new opportunities for all business functions from production to marketing. The adaptation of marketing research to the change in the market has become fundamental as the use of information and communication tools become widespread as the speed of globalization process increases. Within this context, the aim of this study is to introduce the impact of information technology for marketing research in the extent of the change in marketing activities and function.
