The total retail experience includes all the elements in retail offering that encourage or inhibit consumers during their contact with the retailer. One of the biggest challenges for today’s retailer is generating customer “excitement” because many people are bored with shopping or have little time for it. In this atmosphere shopping malls are the raising establishments of retailing. This paper aims to expose retailing and shopping malls via reviewing the existing literature. Primary and secondary resources developed the backbone of the study. Theorical and empirical data had been scanned in the existing literature. Available books, articles, research reports, magazines, internet were used to create this theorical framework. Primary data were collected via questionnaire for exploratory research.
