Labeling is important subject for consumers, firms and government bodies since it carries the significant information. Although it was determined with many studies that the consumers in the developed countries are increasingly becoming sensitive towards labels, there are a handful of studies investigating the consumers’ sensitivity on the labels in Turkey. In the current study, the aim was to make comparisons on the consumers’ sensitivity towards labels with ten years ago. It was identified that the level of consumers’ information acquisition increased and the effects of income, gender, and occupation on the label checking diminished. The study also determined that there are some changes in the order of different information on labels. The most important change is that price moved from second place to fourth.
