Özet:

Multicriteria decision making processes, with the improvements in business field of activities, started to be used in financial decision making processes. The financial decision making processes are at important dimensions from the time and cost perspective for business operations. For that reason the accurate and appropriate decisions making is an important topic for both the financial success of the manager, efficiency of business operations and a result in funding costs that are not increasing as well. In this study the main objective is to define the financial applications of multi criteria decision making. For that reason, the promethee sorting methods is used. In the application stage of the initial public offering (IPO) tool that must be used by a business which is at the stage of offering to public is taken on hand with cost, accessibility, efficiency and image perpectives. At the end of study it is found that in economic growth stages the television, and at economic depression stages the magazines are appropriate media to announce IPO
