Abstract:

As a result of the dissolution of the Soviet Union of Socialist Republics, the countries that gained independence again gathered in this region and applied to various regional integrations. The Eurasian Economic Union (AEB) project, which is similar to the European Union, focuses more on economic issues than on political purposes, was first presented in 1994 by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev. This idea of economic unity was not implemented due to the conditions of that period, but it was able to take effect in 2014. This article studies the positive and negative effects of the Eurasian Economic Union on the Kyrgyz economy. Eurasia is an economic union under the name of the Economic Union and the primary objective of the union is to enhance the economic well-being of the member states. In this context, Kyrgyzstan has been affected economically negatively since its membership in this union (approximately two years). The main reasons for this are the economic inequality between the member states, and there are various reasons such as the understructure of Kyrgyzstan is not ready for this unity. But the modernization of the Kyrgyz economy, especially for the facilitation of the working conditions for Kyrgyz citizens working as immigrant workers in Russia, the benefit of the reduced tax system for Kyrgyz businessmen operating in their united countries and the facilitation of customs controls, is a major importance for the Kyrgyz economy.
