Abstract:

In today’s sports education institutions, the opinions of religious differences in science are seen as judges. However, the influence of students who are trained in the field of sports sciences from these opinions is a natural result. This research aims to identify the religious orientations of students studying in the Department of Physical Education, the value trends they have, and to study the relationship between them. The study was conducted on a total of 576 body education and sports high school students from 4 different universities, including Bingöl University, Siirt University, Inönü University and Fırat University, with 328 girls and 148 men. The Porter Values Survey and the Religious Trend Scale were used to collect information. The data obtained is analyzed in the statistical SSPS program. In the analysis of the data of this study in the relational scan model, depending on the normal distribution; with the number of spearman's rho layers, Mann Whitney U, the Kruskal Wallis test was used. The research findings are studied statistically according to the basic values of age, gender, disability, where he lives, mother, father and his own belief attitude, university and sports branches in which he is educated. As a result of the findings obtained, we can say that students have a statistically significant difference in gender, where they live, mother, father's belief attitude and their own belief attitude, coach's educational status, the university where they are educated according to the student's religious tendency and the perception of values.
