Abstract:

The civilization, which has been the scene of continuous development and change throughout the world history, has actually come to the present day by the female and male figures throughout the human being that forms it. This situation has also emerged in the Turkish culture and has become one of the main factors of social roles, the sharing of tasks in daily life in various proportions and the development in society. As the creator, vivitor and translator of the culture, the language has also begun to form and use various characteristics around the human concept, whether or not. In fact, the intitulators reveal the characteristics of the beings, but they contain signs that help to determine the place, position, and form of perception of the beings that are identified in society. In this study, the main dictionaries taken in the last period of the Ottoman State will be scaned in terms of the existence of the word, and the Ottoman State will try to identify from what aspects the women, men, children and individuals that make up the society in particular in the Turkish society are considered, and what characteristics are used to meet them. Thus, in the 19th century Ottomanism, the roles that individuals take in society will be assessed in terms of words characterizing each other’s points of view and the values that are continuous from the past to the present day will be identified.
