The aim of this study is to examine the original and generic drug topics in the pharmaceutical industry in a multi-faceted way. In this context, it was not a basic idiom, but participants were asked to learn their views on the pharmaceutical industry and tried to base their thinking on the two drug types. Qualitative research approach was used in the research. For the stated purpose, 13 people who the pharmacist, medical pharmacologist, general practitioner, pharmaceutical company manager, academicians and medical representatives in the pharmaceutical industry were interviewed. In-depth interviews were conducted with these patients for about 75-90 minutes and the original and generic medicines were reviewed with regard to whether they differed in terms of treatment success, side effects, cost-effectiveness, patents, ethics, market conditions, legislation and directions The responses were analyzed by descriptive and content analysis methods. The end result is that the pharmaceutical industry has been deviating from community health to profit anxiety at the focal point. In addition, the majority of interviewees stated that generic medicines were not fully recognized by the users and that the community was not directed towards this issue.
