Abstract:

In many countries, the interest of values education is increasing. Within this scope, some studies conducting in Turkey is remarkable. One of the most important of these studies is The Seljuk Values Education Project. (SEDEP). The study carried out with ‘’Constant Assessment Questionnaire Form’’ data which is qualitative research method with the operator parents of students who are implementers of the Project. The main purpose of the research is to lighten the studies on education of values and to contribute to shape future studies of SEDEP. When the findings are analyzed, it is stated that general opinion of parents is SEDEP creates a significant awareness on students, and SEDEP activities have a very important place in adopting values such as love, respect, tolerance, generosity and responsibility. One of the most important elements of the adoption of values by the students is to pay attention to their behavior as a role model.
