Abstract:

Abbasi Hilafetinde Hicrî IV/X. asırda yönetime hâkim olan Büveyhîler, merkezî çatışmalara rağmen çok sesli bir yönetim tarzı sergiledikleri için Şii-Sünnî fakîh ve kelâmcıları arasında bazı polemikler cereyan etmiştir. Bunlardan birisi Ca‘ferî mezhebi sözcüsü Şeyh Müfîd ile Hanefî fakîhi Ebû Ca‘fer en-Nesefî arasındaki münazaradır. Münazaranın konusu abdestte ayakların yıkanması mı yoksa mesh edilmesi mi gerektiği, meselesidir. Konu dönemin dinî ve ilmî hayatını göstermesi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Şeyh Müfîd kendi mezhebine ait görüşü desteklemek için ilgili rivayeti tenkit ederek konuyu ele almaktadır. Ayrıca Şeyh Müfîd münazarada aklı öne çıkarmaktadır. Ebû Ca‘fer en-Nesefî ise konuya rivayet eksenli yaklaşarak kendi mezhebî görüşünü savunmaktadır.
