In this article French politics on the Armenian issue and the effects of these politics on Turkish-French relations have been evaluated since the establishment of Turkish Republic until to date. France used Armenians to occupy the Anatolia and brought them back to France after leaving the Anatolia. France erected the first Armenian genocide monument in 1937 and erected more than 40 monuments up to now. France became the country in which the most assassinations took place with 37 murder attempts which were started with the assassination of İsmail Erez the Turkish ambassador in Paris by ASALA (Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia) in 1975. French Parliament enacted many resolutions accusing Turkey for Armenian genocide since 1998. But French Constitutional Court annulled the decision of France Parliament. On the contrary to the expectations, French Parliament has not stepped back after the annulment decision of the French Constitutional Court and the decision of ECHR on Perinçek case, and ploughed on supporting Armenian claims.
