So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Sanayi ve Ticaret Bakanlığı, Türkiye’nin AB üyeliği müzakereleri çerçevesinde, 2010 yılında Türkiye Sanayi Stratejisi Belgesi’ni hazırlamıştır. Bu belgede, AB’ye verilen taahhütler doğrultusunda rekabet gücü analiz edilen sektörlerin çoğunun ihracatı önemli ölçüde ithalata bağımlıdır. Ayrıca reel döviz kurundaki değişmeler, dış ticarete konu olan malların göreceli fiyatları üzerinde etkili olarak sektörlerin uluslararası rekabet gücünü etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada, reel efektif döviz kuru hareketleri ve belirsizliğinin Türkiye Sanayi Stratejisi Belgesi’nde analiz edilen sektörlerin 2005:Q1-2012:Q2 dönemi dış ticaret hacmine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Panel veri analizi sonuçları, reel döviz kurundaki artışın ithalatı arttırırken ihracatı anlamlı bir şekilde azaltmadığını göstermiştir. Reel döviz kuru belirsizliği ise ilgili dönemde ihracatı olumlu etkilemekte; ancak ithalat hacminde anlamlı bir düşüş yaratmamaktadır
