Bu çalışmanın amacı, bireylerin toplumsal cinsiyet algılarını değerlendirmeye yönelik bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Çalışma sonunda bireylerin toplumsal cinsiyet algılarını temsil ettiği düşünülen toplam 25 maddeden oluşan beşli Likert tipi bir ölçek elde edilmiştir. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini saptamak amacıyla 443 (244 kadın 199 erkek) kişiden toplanan verilerin Temel Bileşenler Analizi yöntemi ile faktör yapısına bakılmıştır. Geçerlik için yapılan açıklayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarına göre, ölçeğin tek boyutu olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliği saptamak için Cronbach Alpha değerinin 0.872 olduğu bulunmuştur. Sonuçta alfa güvenirlik katsayısının kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur. Yapılan bu çalışmanın sonucunda Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği’nin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to develop a measurement tool for evaluating the social gender perceptions of individuals. At the end of the study, a five-like Likert-type scale was obtained, consisting of a total of 25 substances, which were thought to represent the social gender perceptions of individuals. To determine the structural validity of the measurement, the data collected from 443 (244 women 199 men) were looked at by the Basic Components Analysis method of the factor structure. According to the results of the explanatory factor analysis for validity, it was revealed that the scale was one-dimensional. The Cronbach Alpha value was 0.872 to determine the measurement's reliability. After all, the alpha reliability ratio was found to be acceptable. This study has found that the social gender perception scale is valid and reliable.
