Sağlık insan gücü planlaması; makro planlamayı, insan gücü arz ve ihtiyacını, insan gücü dağılımını, personel standartlarını, görev tanımlarını, görev ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesini ve tüm bunlarla ilgili denetim yapısını kurmayı kapsayan bir süreçtir. Bu çalışmada sağlık alanında insan gücü planlaması kapsamında ülkemizde Sağlık Bakanlığı’na bağlı kurum ve kuruluşlarda çalışan sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının genel durumu incelenmiş ve sağlık alanında önemli rol ve fonksiyonlar üstlenen sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının istihdamlarına yönelik bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.
