Bu araştırmanın amacı Çocuk Evi Sorumluları’nın sosyal problem çözme düzeylerini geliştirmek amacıyla hazırlanan programın etkililiğini sınamaktır. Amasya Aile ve Sosyal Politikalar İl Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı kurumlarda çalışmakta olan Çocuk Evi Sorumluları bu araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada verileri elde etmek amacıyla ön test ve son test uygulamalarında ölçüm aracı olarak Kişilerarası Problem Çözme Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu 7’sı deney ve 7’si kontrol olmak üzere toplam 14 katılımcıdan oluşmuştur. Hazırlanan Sosyal Problem Çözme Programı haftada bir gün 120 dakika olmak üzere 10 oturumda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde Non- Parametrik Mann Whitney- U ve Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi kullanılmıştır. Uygulanan Sosyal Problem Çözme Programı’nın Çocuk Evi Sorumlularından oluşan Deney grubunun sosyal problem çözme becerilerine etkilerini tespit etmek üzere yapılan incelemede, Deney grubunun probleme olumsuz yaklaşımı ve kendine güvensizlik düzeylerinin uygulama sonrasında anlamlı derecede azaldığı, yapıcı problem çözme ve ısrarcı-sebatkar yaklaşım puanlarının ise anlamlı derecede arttığı görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte sorumluluk almama boyutunda herhangi bir etkiye rastlanmamıştır.
The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of the program designed to improve the level of social problem solving skills in Persons in Charge of Child Homes. The universe of this research is institutions affiliated to Amasya Family and Social Policies Provincial Directorate, where Persons in Charge of Child Homes work. In order to obtain the data, The Interpersonal Problem Solving Inventory was used as the measurement tool in the pre-test and post-test applications. The sample of persons in charge of child homes consisted of 7 for the experiment and 7 for control group, totaling 14 participants. The developed Social Problem Solving Programme for Persons in Charge of Child Homes applied in 10 sessions which lasted 120 minutes once a week. Non-Parametric Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon Sign-Rank Test was used for the analysis of the data. In the analysis to identify the effects of the applied Social Problem Solving Programme for persons in charge of child homes, it was found that Experiment Group’s levels of negative problem orientation and self-insecurity decreased significantly, constructive problem solving and insistent-persistent approach scores increased significantly after the application. Moreover, there was no effect on non-responsibility dimensions.
