Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to study the contribution of the agricultural sector and agricultural industry to the Turkish economy using the input-output analysis technique. Input-output analysis was used with the 1998 input-output tables prepared by the Turkish Statistical Bureau for the Turkish economy. Total production to the agricultural sector and agricultural-based industries, to the sector! The advance and re-connection ratio is calculated with the advance and re-connection index. The impact of the 1 unit increase in the final demand of a sector on the total production is estimated to be 5,0742 for total production, cereal and other plant production, 1,9996 for livestock. For the economy of Turkey, cereal and other plant production, livestock, textile filing and textile industry, leather and leather products industry, cranberry and parks industry, paper and paper products industry, cleaning and chemical products manufacturing, iron main industry, main metal industry, other metal items manufacturing, metal work related service activity, restaurant, coffee shop, bar and food drinking services manufacturing has been defined as the key sector.
