The Supermarket sector in Turkey is dramatic change during the last ten years. This change in the süpermarket sector is both on the infrastructural changes and consumer preferences, attitudes This paper aims to determine consumers' perception of, and attitude toward, local and natinal süpermarkets. A total of 391 respondents were included in this research and face to face interviews were conducted to collect data. Respondents are carried out personel who worked in the public sector located in the town of Sivas. For the analysis of the data; frequencies, percentages, chi square analysis and t test are used. Implications of findinds are discussed within the context of retailing and consumer purchase behavior
