In the 1960s, the influence of the popular culture spreaded with therising mass media and communication. In these years, interest in fantasy art increased in art field and traditional advertisement images which have had a big role in marketing of capitalist production aroused curiosity. These changes seen in community resulted in a new movement called pop art in art field. Pop art regarding consumer society and mass production is an art movement which aims to represent bad sides of the society’s all features with their fault and evil. For this reason, artists in the movement have benefited from industrial commodities, advertisement world, items used in daily life and comic strip magazines by the time they paint. It has been clearly seen that Andy Warhol, one of the precursors of the pop art movement, has painted under the influence of popular culture.
