Oflu Hoca that have been mentioned about their names frequently and with praise in the last three centuries were born in Of (Trabzon) (now Of, Çaykara, Dernekpazarı and Hayrat). They are religious scholars who have been trained in madrasas in a few villages in almost every village or some. In terms of quantity and quality these madrasas where they were grown up with at least his reputation. However, Madrasas are exaggerated noteworthy figures on the number of madrasas in “Trabzon Vilayet Salmanesi” and some books. The purpose of this study is to clarify 'Oflu Hoca's the distinctive qualifications, the region where they have been trained and to determine the number of madrasas which their reputation spreaded over Anatolia.
